Senior Chief Engineer in Transport Simulation

As Senior Chief Engineer in Transport Simulation at Ramboll, you will be responsible for developing Ramboll’s service offering within transport simulation in Denmark. Moreover, you will work closely with clients and competent national and global team members, helping them understand how to calculate future transportation demands. Finally, you will help develop Ramboll’s market position as Denmark’s leader in this field.

With a direct report to Head of Department, Smart Mobility, you will become Ramboll’s selected spearhead and part of the global Smart Mobility department, with more than 300 experts globally, approximately 15 of whom are based in Denmark.

Your main tasks are:

Transport simulation  

• Work as a subject matter expert in transport simulation
• Service innovation of Ramboll’s offerings
• Design and implement simulation models
• Analyse and simulate different scenarios to identify and improve safe, effective and sustainable transport systems

Project Management

• Ability to lead tenders/projects within simulation
• Work with the entire project, from discovering tender opportunities to project execution and handover
• Ensure adherence to budgets

Mentoring

• Train and develop people within the field of expertise

You have expert knowledge and experience in transport simulation and at least three years of experience in a similar position, preferably from a project-oriented and/or global organisation. Moreover, you have great communication skills and can present complex results.

You have a master’s degree in transport preferably from DTU or something similar. Moreover, you hold a relevant background in transport simulation.

You are a person with a great mindset and solid professional ambitions. Additionally, you master stakeholder management and communicating internally and externally and can create excellent group dynamics.
